북촌가면 또 가고싶은 곳

위치가 좋았고 조용하고 깨끗했어요. 2층에 따로 거실같이 돼있어서 놀기도 좋았고 주방공간이 따로있어서 간단하게 음식먹기도 좋았어요. 그리고 사장님이 매우 친절합니다 ^^

공용욕실인것. 하지만 욕실이 여러개 있어서 기다리거나 하진 않았어요.

상업중심지구라 주변 상점이 일찍 문을 닫음. 밤에는 심심할 수 있을듯.

매우매우 안락하고 낭만적인 공간이었습니다 . 저는 꼭 재방문할 것입니다 . 호스트도 굉장히 친절하시고 밤에 별이 보이며 화려하진 않지만 소박하고 예쁜 곳이었습니다. 가족같은 분위기에요 비교하자면 여행갔을때 호텔같이 화려한곳이 있다면 라온게스트하우스는 할머니댁같이 포근하고 따뜻한 곳이었답니다 꼭 방문해보세요!

Good location, nice place and great owners!

Place was clean, comfy and quiet. Owners were very accommodating and helpful. Location is within walking distance from many tourist spots and eateries including a convenience store 100m away.

Mosquitoes and the smoke from lighted mosquito coils to ward them off. Also a bit far from the nearest train station.

The location was perfect.

The location was perfect. The host Ryu and his wife Pyeong went well out of the way to make my stay enjoyable, even walking me all the way to the bank to help me find a foreign ATM to draw money, and then to the station to book a train ticket. As an English speaker and a newcomer to Seoul I was constantly lost in translation, so their help was invaluable.

The room was a bit small.

Nice location

Guesthouse location is quite centric to the main landmarks (palaces, bukchon, etc), but at the same in a quite area.

The attention that you are going to receive from the host is...

The attention that you are going to receive from the host is incredible, very attentive in case you need anything. The location is also very good, near to the palaces and metro station.

Since is quite a small room if you don't use the air conditioner it's somewhat hot and a little bit noisy but if you don't mind it is okey.

lovely

Location was great - very close (walking distance) to Hanok village and a lot of the main palaces and of course Insadong! Have to travel 15-20 minutes by public transport to get to all the shopping places, but the location is perfect to get public transport. Very easy to get to accomodation from airport as airport shuttle stops 10m from the accommodation. Even though I had a shared bathroom, it was very clean. The communal space is lovely too. The owner is a gem!

Really good staying

The hoster is really nice and friendly , he speaks perfectly English and he is available at any time for any needs The place is really comfortable and you can live the experience to sleep in a traditional Korean house The location is amazing.

A traditional hanok, with a friendly and welcoming host.

It was in a great location, conveniently near Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. Staying at the Raon Guesthouse was like staying in one of the traditional Hanok houses we had seen. The underfloor heating was a warm welcome back from long days exploring in the early spring chill, and the host was very friendly and accommodating.

A lamp in the room would be a great addition.

Better Than Reasonable

The heated floors were very warm; the owner was very accommodating; the sleeping mats were comfortable. It is very close to two palaces, and the area around it has lots of hanbok rentals, restaurants, and other nice places. The location is the main selling point for this property, so I was willing to be in a stark place; however, in addition to the nice location, this is a genuinely nice hostel on it’s own. For young adventurers who are really just looking for a place to sleep after a full day, this is an ideal place.

The bathrooms were not especially convenient, and the common area was not heated.

Raon was a great place to stay and unexpectedly a great base...

Raon was a great place to stay and unexpectedly a great base to get around the city. Being close to the palaces and Insa-dong meant easy access to great food and art, and since it was off of Line 3, that meant easy access to Myeongdong shopping and down to Gangnam. The staff was also excellent and had umbrellas ready on a rainy day. I highly recommend Raon, especially if you want a more traditional and cultural experience!
